FAQs

Q: What if it rains?
A: We get to experience another of Nature’s many wondrous facets, as well as exponentially increase our odds of seeing a rainbow! The fish don’t seem to mind getting wet, so we sail rain or shine. Severe weather will force us to stay tied to the dock. Only the Captain can cancel the trip due to weather.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Weather appropriate clothing; multiple layers when it’s cold, hats, shorts, and sunscreen when it’s hot, and boots and a raincoat when it rains. Staying comfortable is the key ingredient to an enjoyable day! Cameras and camcorders are almost required. Specialty catering can be arranged, or you may bring whatever special food, drinks, or treats that you wish. We have plenty of below deck space to hold the day’s catch, so please leave your giant coolers at home.

Q: What should I tip the crew?
A: 15-20% of the fare is customary for your hard working crew.

Q: What do I do with the fish after it has been caught?
A: Our professionally trained crew will probably have you pose with the mighty beast for a trophy photo, and then all legal fish will be kept on ice until they can be cleaned and bagged for you.
